My writing goal is (have you changed it, why?) - my writing goal is use capital letters and full stops in the right place.

I practise this by… putting capital letters and full stop where they need to go.

A piece of writing I am proud of is…. My runaway robot rampage story.

In maths I am currently learning (how do you feel about this, what are your next steps? Give your parents a rundown of what we do as well)… we are learning to add and subtract in the hundreds. We also do shark tank that is someone comes up the front and tells the class there answer and we ask some  questions.

Goal  - i decided to keep my old goal which is using capitals and full stops in the right place.

i keep it because i don 't use capital letters and full stops correctly all of the time.

On Tuesday the 7th of October the years 2, 3 and 4 did bike safety with Senor Jono. First Jono told us how to be safe on a bike. Then he told us to get our bikes and line them up.  we started going round the track. There was a roundabout and a bridge.Next we had a race we did a slow race.a fast race and Declan came first and I came second. .I don’t know

Who came third. Finally  we had to pack up.

Over the last few weeks we have been researching and looking at websites about our business.  my group  has been looking at making nesting boxes I have learned  that you need the box that you are going to use we decided that we will work together as a whole class to use personal best to work at our business so we can get further. We will be trying to sell chickens, make graphs, make grain , compost , building nesting boxes and grow food.

Hemi’s dad had asked him to mow the lawns this weekend. Hemi hated mowing the lawn so Hemi went and made a lawnmower machine in the shed. He spent all night in the shed making the machine he found some old scissors a blender some dads nose picker a set of  steak knives a laser pointer some guitar strings and an old computer  when it was morning Hemi  braing the Machine into the yard. Then Hemi turned it on then it started mowing the lawn then Hemi fell asleep then he woke up and heard noises from down the street.

Hemi went to go look for his robot he saw people with no hair Hemi asked the people “have you seen a robot”? Left then Hemi went left he looked in all the shops but not one which was KFC  and Hemi found his robot in there.

Then Hemi’s dad found out that he made a invention and not used the lawn mower.

What i did - first we did  it on a blank piece of paper for a practise piece then we did it good piece for the background  then we made the tree and painted black then we did the branches then we did the leaves.

What I liked - what i liked about mine was my backgroud.

In Taranaki  there was a kid called Sean who was the biggest kid in town. He was a big bully and he could lift a bus with his bare hands. He shook the bus and took the kids lunch. Then a new kid called Big Steve came to the neighborhood. Big Steve said “I smell chicken nuggets” . Sean ate the chicken nuggets and that made Big Steve really mad so Big Steve put pink paint on Sean. The kids started laughing at Sean until Big Steve said “watch out or you'll be next”. The kids had, had enough big kids bossing them around so they ordered a truck full of super inflated chicken nuggets then Sean and  Big Steve ate all the chicken nuggets then they became fat and then the kids said “volleyball time” .

“HAHAHAHAHA  you are going out in space. It was all your fault and the the kids wouldn't have been in space.” said Sean. “All my fault but if you had gave me the chicken nuggets…” If we get popped by that satellite then we willbe on earth again. BANG! Yay we are on earth now we are normal size. You guys want play laser tag “I'm keen.”said Big Steve “me to” said Sean. Until big Mike came along

W.A.L.T -  reflect on our calf and lamb day work

What i did - this year i made a rock art Spongebob. First  i got a rock, then i  put my name on it. Then mrs fergus painted it white. Then i went and got a photo of spongebob. Next i traced it onto my rock then i colour it.

What i would change - next time i would make Spongebob a bit more square.

Other comments - I am proud of my work because i came third

He ate up all his greens .it's true he did

He ate his spinach,,salads,peas,

Asparagus,and food like these,

And with each leaf and lima bean

His skin turned a bit more green.

On chives and chard he loved to chew,

And brussels sprouts and peppers too

Until he ate that fateful bean

That turned his skin completely green

He turned all green, and stayed that way

And now he frightens folks away.

Poor frankenstein,his tale is sad,

but things need not have been so bad,

It's fair to say, if only he

 had eaten much less celery,

avoided cabbage, ate no kale,

Why then we’d have a different tale

So mom and dad i’m here to say

Please take these vegetables away

Or my fate could be just as grim

Yes i could end up green like him .

my teacher likes minecraft

Our teacher likes minecraft.

She plays it all day.

She tells us to study

So she can go play.

Shell dig in her mine ,

Going deeper and deeper

Then she will fight of a skeleton

Zombie or creeper

She’ll engineer buildings

From dirt, wood,and stone,

Then go out exploring

The landscape alone.

Shell build and collect and

shell run, jump,and swing

There's only one problem

we don’t learn a thing.

pimple problem

I had a little problem

It give me quite a scare

I looked into the mirror

And  saw a pimple there

 

That Pimple was enormous

and growing on my nose

Both bigger than a button

And redder than a rose

I knew my friends would notice

I thought  they would stare

I figured that they would laugh at me

To see that pimple they

So that's when I decided

I decided I would give them a surprise

I grabbed a pen  and drew on it

Two tiny little eyes   

I drew a nose a mouth tow ears

A mustache and a bread

To make my pimple obvious

And wonderful and weird  

My drawing was a winner

And a hit with every friend

Now painting on your pimples

Is the hottest fashion trend.

Weekly reflection week 8

What -  year 4s went mrs stark class. We did a slide about an animal I did a sloth slide with Tessa. It was awesome.

So what - We have been playing beat the teacher. So you have to try to beat the teacher.

Guess what - It was fun collecting information for mine and Tessa's sloth slide.

My favourite activity so far this year was - because i got to see  Dawson falls.

I was helpful to someone else when - blogger because someone was struggling.

Something i have learned so far this year was - shotput because i did not know how .

How do you do it you put the ball behind your ear and push.

The piece of work i am most proud of is - my superhero art work because it is really cool.

Something i am looking forward to is - watching jones cup because i like watching rugby.

My next learning step is - writing because  i need more ideas.

CAMP

It was  the first exciting day of camp. The sky was gloomy. I couldn't  wait to go to wilkies pools. It took half an hour. First we loaded up into the vehicles. Then we drove off to konini lodge that's where we stayed. Next  we unloaded our gear  to our cabin. After that we got our shoes  on and we went to wilkies pools. Finally we got there.’’ I said wow’’    

Because it was so amazing . we went to the top of wilkies pools and we came down I slipped three times we also threw rocks in the water.I felt amazed

What-This week we did shot put in run jump throw.

So what I still want to learn to push the ball not throw.

Guess what I am going to fix that by to bend my elbow.

what Last week we did the new tryathlon  practice I learned not  to use all of  my breath.

so what i still want to learn not to use all of my breath.

guess what i am going to fix that is not to run super fast.
